![Apartment Therapy posts The Daily Scavenger, which highlights awesome craigslist furniture finds. I was excited because they recently started linking to posts in the South. Unfortunately, most of the Texas links are from Austin, a few are from Dallas, and they never have any links from Houston.
Houston’s not exactly the “stylish” city of Texas, but it is pretty cosmopolitan. You’d think there would be some cool to stuff to buy. Every once in a while I wander over to craigslist to see if there’s anything interesting. And every time I’m disappointed, inundated with old IKEA dressers, hideous musty end tables from the ’90s, and super traditional dining room sets from Ashley Furniture.
But not today! Today I found this hand carved horse “dinging” table set! I can’t say it’s my style, but it sure made my day. I kind of wish I had a ton of extra money and a spare house, because I would totally buy this in a, “This dining table set completes my life,” sort of way.
