Another monster! And another one of my favorites. It looks like I wasn’t the only who admired this guy because he took first place.

I think the side says “Sharpstown International,” referring to, I assume, the school. There were a bunch of cars designed by schools, but I thought this one was the most creative. It looks like a mixture between a lion dance lion and a psychedelic Wild Thing.

This was a pretty cool car. Unfortunately, shortly after I took the picture, its front end started smoking, deposited a rusty puddle on the road, and had to sit out for the rest of the parade.

Not really sure how to categorize these. “Understated?” In the third picture, there’s an older gentleman hanging out of the window wearing a lovely hat and bikini top made out of silk flower petals.
